6 Songs, Op.7

Framed in C Major, the score establishes C through a key signature featuring zero sharps and zero flats. Harmonic variety is enriched through dialogue with the relative minor/major (A Minor) alongside strong cadential support from G Major. Voice leading proceeds primarily through diatonic harmonic motion involving tonic, subdominant, and dominant degrees. From a tactile perspective, navigating this key delivers an unadorned keyboard topography requiring precise thumb tucks without black-key tactile markers.

Operating within 4/4, this simple quadruple meter generates a steady common-time pulse providing natural rhythmic symmetry across four quarter-note subdivisions. The benchmark tempo of ♩ = 92 BPM (Andantino) conveys a moderately flowing with clear articulation sensibility. Regarding pedal usage, use light, shallow pedaling to enhance acoustic warmth without muddling inner voices.
