Coffin Dance Piano Solo Arrangement with Chords, Metronome & BPM

Framed in E-flat Major, the score establishes E♭ through a key signature featuring three flats (B♭, E♭, A♭). Harmonic variety is enriched through dialogue with the relative minor/major (C Minor) alongside strong cadential support from B-flat Major. Harmonically, the progression E → flat → G → Am → F → Dm concludes with a questioning dominant pivot that commands forward continuation. Under the fingers, E-flat Major features a rich acoustic setting favored in classical literature for its heroic warmth and sonorous chord voicings.

Attributed to Tedesco Creations, Coffin Dance forms an integral entry in the modern pop keyboard selections. Laid out across 5 pages containing 104 measures, this score draws authenticity from verified performance editions and modern engravings. Work tracking associates this edition with ISWC identifier `T-20D.DAB.60-1` and registry `mbid-20ddab60-pianistforum`.

Metric propulsion relies on 4/4 (simple quadruple meter), giving the piece a well-proportioned metric pulse alternating primary and secondary stresses across the measure. Set to a metronome speed of ♩ = 109 BPM (*Animato*), the overall character feels cheerful with buoyant rhythmic bounce. Pianists should ensure that they listen for the overarching four-bar hypermeter to keep phrases singing rather than measure-bound.

This Intermediate publication (intermediate benchmark (ABRSM/RCM Grade 4–6)) serves as an instructive study in keyboard voicing. Pianists must address managing two-part hand coordination and synchronizing pedal changes with harmonic shifts. Passages dominated by broken arpeggio figures and modern pulse chords benefit from conscious dynamic shading. Regarding pedal usage, feather the pedal to sustain bass notes without drowning upper textures. Practice Recommendation: practice left-hand harmonic leaps with closed eyes to develop spatial keyboard instinct.

Curatorial Repertoire Role: The work serves as a reliable selection for popular piano showcases, private lessons, and collaborative sessions.

Tessitura & Key Transposition: While engraved in E-flat Major, the work accommodates vocal adjustments readily: modulating down into D-flat Major eases strain for baritones, whereas moving upward to F Major highlights brilliance in soprano or tenor solos.
