Demons Piano Solo Arrangement with Chords, Metronome & BPM

Attributed to Imagine Dragons, Demons forms an integral entry in the modern rock keyboard selections. Laid out across 3 pages containing 64 measures, this score draws authenticity from standard contemporary studio engravings. Work tracking associates this edition with ISWC identifier `T-20B.34F.DF-1` and registry `mbid-20b34fdf-pianistforum`.

Organized under a 4/4 time signature, the music exhibits a simple quadruple meter with 4 beats per measure. At ♩ = 90 BPM (Andantino), the pacing unfolds in a manner described as moderately flowing with clear articulation. A core performance guideline: subdivide internally with relaxed forearm weight to prevent metric stiffness across bar lines.

Cast in B-flat Major (two flats (B♭, E♭)), the composition organizes its melodic arcs around B♭. Dynamic tension arises from modulatory motion toward the relative mode of G Minor, balanced by harmonic stabilization from E-flat Major. Harmonically, the progression B → flat → G → Am → F → Dm pauses expressively on an open half-cadence, leaving harmonic expectation unresolved. At the keyboard, B-flat Major provides a noble tonal landscape that supports relaxed arm weight across its two flat accidentals.

Targeted at Intermediate players (intermediate study curriculum (RCM Level 5–6)), this score presents rewarding interpretive and tactile hurdles. Attention should center on managing two-part hand coordination and synchronizing pedal changes with harmonic shifts. Accompaniment passages containing flowing keyboard arpeggios that support emotional melodic peaks require subdued dynamics to spotlight the melody. Mechanically, coordinate pedaling with chord changes to maintain acoustic warmth. Preparatory Exercise: play the melody forte while ghost-tapping the accompaniment keys silently beneath the surface.

Curatorial Repertoire Role: The work serves as a reliable selection for informal recitals, private studio practice, and collaborative accompaniment.

Tessitura & Key Transposition: Adapting the original B-flat Major setting is straightforward: lower tessituras find comfort in A-flat Major, whereas soprano instruments or solo flutes achieve singing resonance in C Major.
