Rhythmic momentum flows through a 4/4 metric framework (simple quadruple meter). Calibrated to ♩ = 114 BPM (*Animato*), the piece moves with a cheerful with buoyant rhythmic bounce pulse. As a practical study rule, listen for the overarching four-bar hypermeter to keep phrases singing rather than measure-bound.

Framed in C Major, the score establishes C through a key signature featuring zero sharps and zero flats. Harmonic variety is enriched through dialogue with the relative minor/major (A Minor) alongside strong cadential support from G Major. Harmonically, the progression C → G → Am → F weaves cohesive chordal shifts (Am, F) supporting melodic variety before resolving. Under the fingers, C Major features an unadorned keyboard topography requiring precise thumb tucks without black-key tactile markers.

Assigned an overall Intermediate rating (intermediate study curriculum (RCM Level 5–6)), the composition exercises manual independence. The central obstacle centers on managing two-part hand coordination and synchronizing pedal changes with harmonic shifts. In performing transparent two-part polyphony and classical Alberti motion, keep finger knuckles rounded and poised. For acoustic hygiene, use light, shallow pedaling to enhance acoustic warmth without muddling inner voices. Study Routine: record your practice with emphasis on listening for crisp pedal releases on each harmonic pivot.
