Easy On Me Piano Solo Arrangement with Chords, Metronome & BPM

Metric propulsion relies on 4/4 (simple quadruple meter), giving the piece a well-proportioned metric pulse alternating primary and secondary stresses across the measure. Set to a metronome speed of ♩ = 120 BPM (*Animato*), the overall character feels cheerful with buoyant rhythmic bounce. Pianists should ensure that they avoid pounding downbeats mechanically; keep the line buoyant through intermediate pulses.

Originating within the contemporary pop piano repertory, Easy On Me by Adele exemplifies structural economy and melodic clarity. Spanning 3 pages and 64 measures, its source material derives from accurate modern sheet transcriptions. Catalog registries document the score under identifier `mbid-f2d75199-pianistforum` with ISWC `T-F2D.751.99-1`.

Assigned an overall Easy rating (early progressive keyboard syllabus (ABRSM Grade 3 standard)), the composition exercises manual independence. The central obstacle centers on balancing quiet accompaniment figures beneath a clearly audible melodic statement. In performing contemporary broken triad ostinatos and resonant pedal points, keep finger knuckles rounded and poised. For acoustic hygiene, refresh damper pedal depth synchronously with bass root changes. Practice Tip: rehearse hands individually with a metronome at slow speeds before coordinating hands together.

Set within the harmonic domain of B-flat Major (two flats (B♭, E♭)), the score secures tonal focus on B♭. Expressive depth is enhanced through secondary pivots into G Minor and dominant reinforcement via F Major. Harmonically, the progression B → flat → G → Am → F → Dm pauses expressively on an open half-cadence, leaving harmonic expectation unresolved. Physically, playing in this key offers a warm resonance widely preferred in winds and vocal hymnody, fitting standard hand spans comfortably.

When programming this selection, music educators frequently schedule Easy On Me for popular piano showcases, private lessons, and collaborative sessions. Adapting the original B-flat Major setting is straightforward: lower tessituras find comfort in A-flat Major, whereas soprano instruments or solo flutes achieve singing resonance in C Major.
