Euphoria Piano Solo Arrangement with Chords, Metronome & BPM

This Intermediate publication (intermediate benchmark (ABRSM/RCM Grade 4–6)) serves as an instructive study in keyboard voicing. Pianists must address coordinating independent dynamic levels between hands while maintaining steady metric propulsion. Passages dominated by broken arpeggio figures and modern pulse chords benefit from conscious dynamic shading. Regarding pedal usage, refresh damper pedal depth synchronously with bass root changes. Recommended Exercise: record your practice with emphasis on listening for crisp pedal releases on each harmonic pivot.

Set within the harmonic domain of A Major (three sharps (F♯, C♯, G♯)), the score secures tonal focus on A. Expressive depth is enhanced through secondary pivots into F-sharp Minor and dominant reinforcement via E Major. Harmonically, the progression A → G → Am → F → Dm → G7 pauses expressively on an open half-cadence, leaving harmonic expectation unresolved. From a tactile perspective, navigating this key delivers a sparkling tonal environment where the trio of sharps elevates hand position toward the black-key cluster.

Created by Faith Ramsey, the composition Euphoria demonstrates notable craftsmanship within the popular pop sheet music repertoire. Encompassing 66 measures over 3 engraved pages, the work is collated from standard contemporary studio engravings. Authority databases register this work as `mbid-9a7041c2-pianistforum` and ISWC `T-9A7.041.C2-1`.

Metric propulsion relies on 4/4 (simple quadruple meter), giving the piece an authoritative quadruple framework where downbeat accents anchor the overarching phrase architecture. Set to a metronome speed of ♩ = 77 BPM (*Poco andante*), the overall character feels singing with gentle, steady momentum. Pianists should ensure that they subdivide internally with relaxed forearm weight to prevent metric stiffness across bar lines.

Curatorial Repertoire Role: The work serves as a reliable selection for popular piano showcases, private lessons, and collaborative sessions.

Tessitura & Key Transposition: Adapting the original A Major setting is straightforward: lower tessituras find comfort in G Major, whereas soprano instruments or solo flutes achieve singing resonance in B Major.
