Inai Sekai

The score Inai Sekai, composed by Meis Clauson, reflects the stylistic idioms of the popular pop sheet music repertoire. This edition contains 109 measures formatted across 6 pages, corroborated through standard contemporary studio engravings. Worldwide rights catalogs anchor this title under ISWC code `T-29C.3EC.42-1`.

Cast in A Minor (zero sharps and zero flats (with G♯ serving as raised harmonic seventh)), the composition organizes its melodic arcs around A. Dynamic tension arises from modulatory motion toward the relative mode of C Major, balanced by harmonic stabilization from D Minor. Harmonically, the progression Am → Dm → G → C → F → E7 navigates expressive chord variations (F, E7) returning home cleanly. Keyboardists will find that A Minor creates a classic keyboard canvas where the shift between natural minor and harmonic seventh requires careful thumb angle.

Rhythmic momentum flows through a 6/8 metric framework (compound duple meter). Calibrated to ♩ = 81 BPM (*Moderato cantabile*), the piece moves with a poised with natural rhythmic breathing pulse. As a practical study rule, avoid heavy accentuation on the third and sixth eighth notes to preserve natural swing.

Graded at the Advanced level (collegiate conservatory benchmark (Fellowship / Advanced Diploma)), the score fosters disciplined keyboard ergonomics. The primary technical hurdle involves refining subtle dynamic voicing across dense chords, executing octave cascades, and preventing hand cramping. When negotiating flowing keyboard arpeggios that support emotional melodic peaks, ensure the singing melody stays dynamically elevated over the accompaniment. Acoustically, refresh damper pedal depth synchronously with bass root changes. Rehearsal Step: practice rapid runs in diverse rhythmic groupings (dotted-eighth and sixteenth pairs) to eliminate finger lag.

Performance Applications: In performance programming, Inai Sekai is well matched for informal recitals, private studio practice, and collaborative accompaniment.

Transposition Guide: Adapting the original A Minor setting is straightforward: lower tessituras find comfort in G Minor, whereas soprano instruments or solo flutes achieve singing resonance in B Minor.
