On My Way

The rhythmic foundation is anchored in 3/4 (simple triple meter), yielding a flowing triple lilt characteristic of classical minuets and romantic waltzes. Paced at ♩ = 137 BPM (Allegro), the tempo projects a energetic, driving, and propelled musical mood. To refine rhythmic clarity, let beats two and three float effortlessly above the grounded bass root.

Attributed to Darcarr, On My Way forms an integral entry in the contemporary pop piano repertory. Laid out across 5 pages containing 102 measures, this score draws authenticity from standard contemporary studio engravings. Work tracking associates this edition with ISWC identifier `T-EB8.147.5E-1` and registry `mbid-eb81475e-pianistforum`.

Designed for Intermediate level pianists (intermediate study curriculum (RCM Level 5–6)), this piece demands clean articulation and hand balance. The chief hurdle entails projecting the cantabile soprano melody while suppressing inner accompaniment voices. Balancing flowing keyboard arpeggios that support emotional melodic peaks requires distinct volume separation between parts. Furthermore, execute full pedal clears at dynamic changes to highlight intimate moments. Study Routine: drill awkward chord shifts at 60% tempo, ensuring fingers assume target hand shapes before descending.

The foundational pitch center is C Major (zero sharps and zero flats). Here, C serves as the primary resting point, while modulations into A Minor and dominant tensions in G Major shape the emotional contour. Harmonically, the progression C → G → Am → F → Dm → G7 concludes with a questioning dominant pivot that commands forward continuation. At the keyboard, C Major provides an all-natural keyboard surface requiring firm curved finger knuckles to prevent sliding on ivory white naturals.

• ✨Repertoire Setting: Recommended for informal recitals, private studio practice, and collaborative accompaniment, the piece fits versatile programming needs.
• ✨Practical Transposition: The default key of C Major suits standard instrumental ranges. Vocalists seeking a lower tessitura can transpose down to B-flat Major, while high-register singers modulate up to D Major. B♭ brass transpose to D Major.
• ✨Rights Verification: Prepared as a reference study edition under `unknown` standards for non-commercial pedagogical exploration.
