Rainbow Piano Solo Arrangement with Chords, Metronome & BPM

Metric propulsion relies on 4/4 (simple quadruple meter), giving the piece an authoritative quadruple framework where downbeat accents anchor the overarching phrase architecture. Set to a metronome speed of ♩ = 92 BPM (*Tempo comodo*), the overall character feels composed with disciplined, graceful rhythm. Pianists should ensure that they channel energy through the middle beats toward subsequent downbeats to preserve continuous phrasing arcs.

Cast in A Major (three sharps (F♯, C♯, G♯)), the composition organizes its melodic arcs around A. Dynamic tension arises from modulatory motion toward the relative mode of F-sharp Minor, balanced by harmonic stabilization from D Major. Harmonically, the progression A → G → Am → F → Dm → G7 concludes with a questioning dominant pivot that commands forward continuation. At the keyboard, A Major provides a luminous harmonic atmosphere demanding balanced forearm weight distribution on wide melodic shifts.

From Georpir Manback's catalog, Rainbow remains an essential contribution to the modern pop keyboard selections. Comprising 66 bars across a 3-page layout, the musical text stems from standard contemporary studio engravings. International bibliographic tracking links the piece to reference `mbid-fa9b4c09-pianistforum` and ISWC `T-FA9.B4C.09-1`.

Positioned within the Intermediate repertoire (intermediate benchmark (ABRSM/RCM Grade 4–6)), this work offers valuable training in balance and tone. Performers must concentrate on coordinating independent dynamic levels between hands while maintaining steady metric propulsion. Navigating broken arpeggio figures and modern pulse chords asks for deliberate finger weight distribution. To preserve clarity, coordinate pedaling with chord changes to maintain acoustic warmth. Preparatory Exercise: drill awkward chord shifts at 60% tempo, ensuring fingers assume target hand shapes before descending.
