Cast in 4/4 (simple quadruple meter), the score delivers an authoritative quadruple framework where downbeat accents anchor the overarching phrase architecture. At ♩ = 88 BPM (*Tempo comodo*), the musical progression remains composed with disciplined, graceful rhythm. Pedagogical directive: listen for the overarching four-bar hypermeter to keep phrases singing rather than measure-bound.

Framed in C Major, the score establishes C through a key signature featuring zero sharps and zero flats. Harmonic variety is enriched through dialogue with the relative minor/major (A Minor) alongside strong cadential support from G Major. Voice leading proceeds primarily through diatonic harmonic motion involving tonic, subdominant, and dominant degrees.
