Work tracking associates this edition with ISWC identifier `T-F20.65B.04-1` and registry `mbid-f2065b04-pianistforum`. Contextual research indicates: Composed by Camille Saint-Saëns during the French Late Romantic Classicism (1835–1921). Demonstrates aristocratic elegance, sparkling virtuoso runs, exotic scales, and effortless c.

Targeted at Advanced players (advanced concert artist standard (ABRSM Diploma / ARCT syllabus)), this score presents rewarding interpretive and tactile hurdles. Attention should center on controlling multi-voiced polyphony, executing wide octave reaches without tension, and sustaining velocity. Accompaniment passages containing broken classical triad figures and balanced inner dialogue require subdued dynamics to spotlight the melody. Mechanically, lift the damper pedal cleanly on phrase boundaries to preserve classical transparency. Study Routine: isolate the polyphonic layers by singing one voice aloud while playing remaining lines pianissimo. Score pointer: Juilliard Practice Blueprint for Tantum ergo: Master hands-separate voice isolation at 65% tempo. Focus on sparkling jeu perlé scales, firm rhythmic discipline,.

Anchored in C Major, this work utilizes a key signature of zero sharps and zero flats. The composer builds structural coherence around C, deploying the relative pole (A Minor) to introduce tonal contrast before resolving through G Major. The chordal vocabulary centers upon stable tonic statements alternating with G Major pivots. Pianistically, the key produces a natural diatonic surface where the absence of black keys demands disciplined hand stability and balanced posture.

Cast in 4/4 (simple quadruple meter), the score delivers a well-proportioned metric pulse alternating primary and secondary stresses across the measure. At ♩ = 88 BPM (*Moderato grazioso*), the musical progression remains stable with buoyant, relaxed momentum. Pedagogical directive: avoid pounding downbeats mechanically; keep the line buoyant through intermediate pulses.

1. Recital Staging: This selection integrates smoothly into classical concert programming and conservatory performance audits.

2. Key Customization: Performers can shift the default tonality of C Major according to singer comfort: a downward transition to B-flat Major reduces top-range vocal demands, while modulating to D Major enhances acoustic carrying power for solo recitals.

3. Licensing Status: Presented for pedagogical investigation under `unknown`, intended for personal practice and theoretical review.
