A Prayer for Today
Dear God,
Thank You for this new day, a fresh beginning filled with hope and possibilities. Thank You for the gift of life, for the air I breathe, the love I receive, and the beauty of the world around me. I am grateful for the blessings You have given me, both big and small.
Lord, I ask for Your guidance today. Help me walk in Your light, to act with kindness, compassion, and patience toward everyone I meet. Let my words bring encouragement, and may my actions reflect Your love. Teach me to be slow to anger and quick to forgive, to listen with an open heart, and to offer understanding even when it is hard.
Grant me the strength to face whatever challenges come my way. When I feel weak or uncertain, remind me that You are always with me, giving me courage and wisdom. Help me to trust in Your plan, even when I don’t understand it, and to find peace in knowing You are in control.
Lord, I lift up my loved ones to You. Protect them, guide them, and fill their hearts with joy and peace. For those who are struggling or hurting, I ask for Your comfort and healing. Show me how I can be a source of support and love for them.
May I use this day to grow closer to You, to learn from my mistakes, and to become a better version of myself. Help me to see the beauty and blessings in each moment, and to share my gratitude with others.
Thank You for Your endless love, mercy, and grace. I place my trust in You, now and always.
