Alphys (UNDERTALE) Piano Solo Arrangement with Chords, Metronome & BPM

Metric propulsion relies on 4/4 (simple quadruple meter), giving the piece a steady common-time pulse providing natural rhythmic symmetry across four quarter-note subdivisions. Set to a metronome speed of ♩ = 78 BPM (*Andante con moto*), the overall character feels moving at a tranquil, forward-leaning pulse. Pianists should ensure that they avoid pounding downbeats mechanically; keep the line buoyant through intermediate pulses.

This Beginner publication (introductory piano syllabus (RCM Preparatory Level)) serves as an instructive study in keyboard voicing. Pianists must address finding middle C quickly and coordinating simple two-hand question-and-answer melodies. Passages dominated by cinematic rolling bass sweeps and sustained chord foundations benefit from conscious dynamic shading. Regarding pedal usage, refresh damper pedal depth synchronously with bass root changes. Practice Focus: play hands separately at 60 BPM while naming note names aloud to solidify keyboard geography.

The score Alphys (UNDERTALE), composed by Toby Fox, reflects the stylistic idioms of the popular video-games sheet music repertoire. This edition contains 49 measures formatted across 2 pages, corroborated through verified performance editions and modern engravings. Worldwide rights catalogs anchor this title under ISWC code `T-886.C3C.F4-1`.

Cast in C Minor (three flats (B♭, E♭, A♭, with B♮ raised leading tone)), the composition organizes its melodic arcs around C. Dynamic tension arises from modulatory motion toward the relative mode of E-flat Major, balanced by harmonic stabilization from F Minor. Harmonically, the progression Cm → Dm → G → C → F → E7 cycles smoothly through harmonic steps (F, E7) back toward the tonic. Physically, playing in this key offers a commanding acoustic realm with abrupt dynamic contrasts between minor darkness and major relief.

Performance Applications: In performance programming, Alphys (UNDERTALE) is well matched for popular piano showcases, private lessons, and collaborative sessions.

Transposition Guide: While engraved in C Minor, the work accommodates vocal adjustments readily: modulating down into B-flat Minor eases strain for baritones, whereas moving upward to D Minor highlights brilliance in soprano or tenor solos.

Attribution & Rights: Organized for studio learning under `unknown`, supporting keyboard technique drills and performance prep.
